Default Headaches?

I've started Weight Watchers full-on for the first time a few days ago, but
seem to have constant headaches since then.

The diet isn't very much of a difference from my usual lifestyle and I've
been drinking plenty of water. I don't drink coffee/tea usually, and
haven't had anything else that could dehydrate me like alcohol or salty
foods. I've eaten less than my 18 points but not by much (between 15 1/2
and 16 1/2) and I don't feel particularly hungry.

I'm aware it could be completely unrelated, but has anyone else experienced
that in their first few days?

My bet is that you're not eating enough.. WW new max of pts is 20.. and
there's a reason for that... 18 wasn't enough..

There's so many bad results of not eating enough (hair loss, gum disease,
getting your metabolism out of wack, your body going in Starvation mode) you
don't want any of that BELIEVE ME !... EAT...

To loose weight you've got to eat.. when I uderstood that I got successful
real fast ;o)

The problem with this world is stupidity, now I'm not saying there should
be capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the
safety labels off everything and let the problem solve itself?

Default Headaches?

I don't know about the UK system.. sorry I didn't think about that.. I
didn't know there was a different system there..

But all in all.. if you have regular headaches.. I'd try eating more.. or
changing what you eat.. that's my take on it.. take it or leave it ! ;o)

So you're telling me in the UK WW system, the lowest number of points you
will be on, even below 140lbs (they put it in stone so 10stone = 140lbs),

is
going to be 20 points? That's interesting... When did they make that
change? The WW pack I have is from 2 yrs ago.

I feel like on WW I'm eating more than before, the difference comes from
eating healthier (using less oil in cooking, going to the restaurant less,
drinking less alcohol), so I wouldn't have thought the headaches came from
that!

Default Headaches?

if you have recently cut sugar or are cuting back on sugar in your diet that
could result in the headaches. i have cut and in most cases don't eat sugar
and when I first cut the sugar out I had headaches for the first couplr of
days. your body if it is used to getting something goes threw withdrawls.
Also as others have said it could be that you are not eating enough. When I
don't eat enough I feel light headed and almost sick to my stomach and also
get a slight headache.
keep track of what your are eating and see what causes the headaches at
the time. If they keep up then get it checked out but try what people have
suggested and see if that helps the people here are pretty informative and
know what they are talking about

Given the weather we've had here in the south east recently (I'm in
Kent), I'd say it was probably just old fashioned dehydration. Combine
that with the threat of thunderstorms, and I too have a 'stiff head'.

Wouldn't you just know it? I have washing to hang out and it just
started raining! Ah well, the heads might just clear...

No, the minimum here is still 18. My latest pack is January 03, and it
hasn't changed since then. However, they no longer do the 18 point
starter week, as it put too many people off. If you've gone back to
that, this is where the problem may be. Just look up you points score
for your present weight and see what that is and do that. I'm on 22
points, and will drop to 20 when I hit 12 stone

The US system seems to have a lot more points: their minimum is 20, and
they get a ration of 'flex points' too. BUT more foods have points.
For example, some of the foods we have as point free have points there
if you have more than one portion. The systems are a bit different, and
you have to juggle a bit on this group! They are an excellent and very
supportive bunch, however.
