Checklist for losing weight
For more diet tips see: http://www.tipsforlosingweight.com
Most people set unrealistic weight-loss goals, usually around 30% of total body weight. When these aren't achieved, the disappointment makes the task harder. Try this weight loss checklist to keep you focused on losing weight and getting healthier: 1. Keep body weight stable. The first goal is to prevent further weight gain 2. Identify a realistic goal. A successful weight-loss program will lead to a loss of more than 5% of initial weight. 3. Set yourself other health goals. A weight loss of 5 to 15% will reduce the risks of most disorders associated with obesity like high cholesterol and blood pressure, and diabetes. 4. When choosing a "diet" think of it as "a new menu for life". Most fad diets will result in only short-term weight loss. 5. Remember it's a balance. Losing weight relies on self-belief, motivation and the support of family and friends. 6. Maintaining a healthy weight is a life-long commitment. Believe in yourself, be realistic and you will achieve your goal For more diet tips see: http://www.tipsforlosingweight.com |
