Default Is pasta fattening ?

Thanks all for replying.
So its either more exercise the day or two after the pasta intake, difficult
in my lifestyle and circumstances, or make my own, depends on time but I
shall look into such, or the healthy eating ones.
I have been studying those data displays on the packets, I didnt see
anything indicative of them being more fattening than something else of
equivalent bulk, looking at fat content, I also watch the sugar readout, and
calories indicator. I avoid hydrogenated Veg Oils products which in Tescoes
means most of the products !
Those pastas were free of such, but get you another way.
Anything I like seems to be bad !

Pretty much everything is fattening.. it's all about calorie in VS calorie
out... however you decide to control that doesn't really matter.

Hi,
Is pasta fattening ?
The only major change in my food intake these last few years is discovery
of things like Tesco Tuna and pasta bake, or chicken and broccoli pasta
bake. I never considered pasta before, also these last few years I am
putting on weight a bit, now is the pasta thing the cause or just age, I
am coming up to 51. I do enjoy it and also the convenienve of the tubbed
meals as mentioned.

If you overeat first and then exercise much later, you're giving the
body a chance to store the excess calories as fat. It's much harder to
mobilize fat than it is to store it.

Any extra eating that is intended to fuel exercise should take place
close to that exercise. Ideally, just after.
