One thing you didn't post is your age. PMS can start to get much
worse (or even appear where it didn't before) when you hit your mid
thirties. Something about the hormone swings being more pronounced.
I know that is the case with me. I'm 38 & never got any bad PMS
symtoms til I hit around 33 or so, when the regular mild breast
tenderness turned almost unbearable & the carb cravings intensified to
a binging point.

Nothing works for me, but fortunately it only lasts a day or two, so I
can deal. However, aging might be a factor.

I have JPGs but not brave enough to share with everyone I'm afraid!

I have not lost a kg this year at all and we're already 2 weeks in. :-(

The scale isn't very reliable when you train with weights. MK's
(refurbished!) website discusses this.

Don't lose hope. Myabe it's time for a refeed/break from dieting before you
resume?

I'm 31 in 4 months. I haven't noticed any changes yet as far as severity of
PMS is concerned... It's been pretty much the same since my late-teens
(minus the severe acne) so I'm just dealing with it and learning to accept
that it's part of my life... I don't think it's something one can really get
used to though but it helps to understand that it's a hormonal imbalance
rather than situations around me... understanding it doesn't stop me from
complaining tho :-( Oh well. Gonna have to get myself ready for
menopause... I have plenty of time to prepare :-)

No I'm not on the pill or any other type of medication... this is how it is
for me normally... when I was on it, I didn't suffer PMS... only when I'm
not on it that I get it badly... I don't really want to start taking the
pill just to avoid PMS though... just gonna stick it out I guess... What I
might do is take a note of how I feel each month to see how depressed I get.
I don't get depressed to the point of not wanting to live... just generally
unmotivated and feeling of emptiness but I usually psyche myself out of it
within 3 days or so. It also doesn't help that my mother passed away
11months ago so that contributes to the sadness but... it's not the main
cause of it. I'm still able to manage it really well but as soon as I feel
the need, I'll check with the doctor.

I have chocolates craving (even as I type!) My breasts feel like they're

during PMS.

Are you on birth control or hormones to help with your cycle? I
would suggest you see your doctor to discuss this problem to see if
there is a hormone or BC that would help regulate you more and help
with the symptoms you have. Especially if depression is coming into
play here.

I'm the same way. I'm not on birth control, (it doesn't react well with my
system), and I haven't had really bad PMS until after 30. Now, with all the
exercise I'm getting it's not as bad as it used to be, but I still get over
emotional.

My PMS got better in my 30's and went away when I was on a low dose pill.
Now that I'm not on the pill anymore and my hormones are sort of
straightening out it's coming back but with more weepiness and depression
and less bitchiness than before. The serious chocolate obsession and lower
back cramps are still present

So if you know that you have this problem why don't you ask your doctor to
prescribe "happy pills" for when you are having a bad day?
