Well im a 22 year old male who is very overweight. Last Monday i decided

it
was time for a change, bought the atkins book and got on with it, was

doing
well ... my massive appetite is now only a fraction of what it was.

However
the last 2 days ive been feeling awful, stomach pain for the most part of
the day, diarrhea (its like brown water and i've counted 16 times of

toilet
visiting yesterday) and a further 5 more today. Am also feeling naeseated
... is this normal? how long can i expect this to last? Its costing me a
fortune in toilet paper! Im drinking plenty of water to make up for what

im
ejecting!

thx for ur help

Are you making sure to get all your veggies in so you get some fiber to bulk
up the stool? It's also possible that your gallbladder is complaining. If
the pain is truly severe, see a doctor.

No, if anything, some people complain of constipation. However, there are
"low carb" foods with sugar alcohols. Sugar alcohols are like a massive
laxative. The are often found in low carb and low sugar candy or bars.

Otherwise, you may want to look at conventional causes like food poisoning,
or a virus.

Your body is eliminating excess water weight.

That's a good thing.

Isn't Pepsi Max the one with half the sugar of regular Pepsi? If so,
that's still quite a lot of sugar, so don't drink it. Try cutting out the
diet sodas too and see if it helps, but I doubt that's it. I get mild
diarrhea if I eat too much spinach, and severe if I eat anything with sugar
alcohols. Are you eating hot peppers? Those do it to some people too.
Sounds like food poisoning, though, honestly. Any chance that you ate some
under-cooked meat recently?
