Default Does the Fatloss4idiots Diet Work?

I came across this website online about a diet that lets you lose 9
pounds in 11 days and want to know if its any good or is it just
another scam?

Has anyone tried this diet plan and if so, what were your results?
Was the diet as easy as the site says it is or is that just hype to
sell a product?

Here is the link to the site. http://ironzipper.com

If you consume fewer calories than you burn then you will lose weight.

To lose 1# of fat you need a caloric deficit of 3500 calories.

Thus 9 lbs will require a net deficit of 31,500 calories -- to lose 9 lbs of
fat in 11 days will require a daily calorie deficit of just under 2,900
calories. you can achieve that deficit either by cutting your caloric
intake or increasing your caloric expenditure. For example: you can burn
about 100 calories by walking a mile so all other things equal you can
create that 2,900 daily caloric deficite by walking an extra 29 miles per
day than you normally do.

When you begin a weight loss diet most of your initial loss is water weight.
So it is possible to lose 9 pounds in 11 days. But it won't be mostly fat
loss no matter what a website claims. You can get the same results by
starting any calorie/carb restricted diet plan with exercise. What's more
important in any weight loss diet is what happens beyond the first month.

Here are a couple things to keep in mind when looking for a successful
weight loss plan for yourself.....

1. Is it a way of eating you can stick with for the rest of your life?
Because if you lose the weight then think, 'Thank goodness I can quit eating
this diet food!' you're going to gain every pound back.

2. Does the diet you're considering have a plan for how to maintain your
weight loss after you attain your goal? Believe it or not, losing weight is
the easy part. Maintaining it is the hard part because you have to do it for
the rest of your life.

Here's a good way to spot a scam........ if a website or ad makes a lot of
claims but wants money up front before you get a chance to even look at
what's involved, it's a scam.

You cannot lose nine pounds of fat in eleven days without a great deal of
strenuous exercise. Nine pounds is 31,500 kcal.

The only successful weight-loss program is a lifestyle change that causes you
to consume only the number of calories that you need to maintain your desired
weight. Temporary diets produce, at best, temporary results. Any diet that
does not require you to consume fewer calories than you burn will not produce
weight loss. There are no exceptions to these rules.
