Yes...meat, fish, eggs, veggies, good oils...I knew that, and I'm no doctor
or scientist. What do I win?

YOu win a non-spam post ;-)

He

Iv'be been losing weight again for a few month now. In the beginning, I
thought it was simply the exercise and the "tomatoe" season that had
this effect on me.

But I really had the feeling that I could almost draw a direct relation
betwin the amount of good oil I was having and the rate of my weught loss.

In the beginning, I thought it was colza oil (canola). I use an
organic, non refined kind. Very special, but quite tasy. I Use it to eat
with mungo sprouts along with cider vinegar.
Anyway, I wasn't sure.
But lately, I would have so much olive oil it was kind of... indecent.
I had it with tomatoes, with grated carrots, with red peppers+raw onion
rings salads, etc...
One liter would last , lets say... 10 days max. And, yes: for me and
myself only. At the end of each week, I had droped again 2 pounds, each
time.
wtf?

Furthermore, I could really feel why I was losing weight: my excessive
hunger was gone.

Then I googled "olive oil"+"weight loss" and found out that I had just
had the same results as scientist with some lab rats.

Here's a quote of this particular article:
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/...ticle57708.ece

Quote:
"good" fat found in abundance in olive oil may provide one of the keys
to appetite control and weight loss.

Oleic acid, a type of monounsaturated fat, suppresses hunger pangs and
so can help prevent snacking between meals, according to researchers at
the University of California, Irvine.

In a study involving lab mice, the researchers found that when oleic
acid reaches the small intestine it is converted into a hormone called
oleoylethanolamide, or OEA. This hormone, in turn, sends
hunger-dampening signals to the brain. That means you can go longer
without eating."

Wel, isn't that a nice way to continue a spam thread?
