Our local Chinese place had what they call diet dishes, no salt, msg,
fat, etc. I usually get the chicken/broccoli or shrimp broccoli and
they send a quart of rice(steamed white)with it. They also have a
special sauce that is low in salt and no oils, think it is a light soy
with ginger and scallions in it. Tastes good and the opne meal they
send lasted me 4 meals and my DH another. We also make our own sauces
with Splenda instead of sugar and use the soy lite and rice vinegar
light. Cuts the points in half almost.Still use about 2-3 tbs of peanut
oil though to fry the chicken in. Then we blot most of the oil off
before we go any further. since we only make this once every other
month(much to kids dismay) we consider it our splurge night.

While I don't do much chinese anymore, I don't think that it is all
that WW-friendly. I think that there may be more hidden oil in the
foods than we think unless you do a lot of streamed veggie dishes.
And rice is 4 points per cup. The sodium content is a separate issue.

I found Thai food is also not as point friend as I would have
expected.

But as any splurge, it is tasty.

I was just adding a little humour :-)

I did have breakfast, just chose to have lunch after my meeting.

I don't think I would ever resort to stripping down :-)

I have my evening meal after weigh-in: always have! So long as you do
the same each week, where's the cheat?

We have two local chinese places that have "diet" plates. All steamed
chicken, shrimp or scallops plus veggies. I add some soy or garlic depending
on my mood. I usually skip the rice as there is plenty of bulk if the
veggies have brocolli included. One has all 3 meats in it and will make
several meals for me. Other times I just get an egg roll and some egg drop
soup.
