CTL wk 2: up 1.2 to 176
TG wk 2: 5 curves sessions

I'm afraid things got out of hand this week especially the eating out. I
know some of the gain is water retention as I can't rotate my watch like I
normally can. I asked DH for extra support this morning in keeping our
eating/calling out meals to a minimum this week to see if that helps. I
suspect that I am severely undercounting my points when I eat out. 2 of the
meals (plus the leftovers) were Italian so I *know* that there were lots of
*hidden* points in those meals that I did account for. So time to buckle
down and eat at home this week.

On the positive side, I had my bi-monthly weigh/measure at Curves this week.
Down another 8" in 2 months. So while the scale is not moving the inches are
melting away. I can live with that. Today I bought a pair of size 16 pants
and a size 16 bathing suit. Pretty cool for someone who started out in size
2X clothes.

Seems like eating out mgiht be the culprit indeed. It's so hard to measure
the exact point value fo the dishes! I hope hubby will stand by you and that
next week 's results will be better. But meanwhile, you had a great inches
NSV, and that 's really wonderful.

That's what we are thinking too. When I approached DH about our eating out
he did not have a problem. We'll just have to step up our efforts on
planning dinners better. I already know that we are eating out Wednesday
night. I'm sure something else will pop up but I will make a point of just
having a salad when we are out. Italian is what is giving me the most
trouble.

Sorry about the gain Laura. I know what you mean by the support
from your DH. My DH doesn't support me much either, we just have
to be strong and stand our ground. On Friday evening, DH and DS
wanted take-out from McDonalds - I had leftover turkey, potatoes
and carrots. Not the lowest point meal, but much lower than
McDonalds!

Good luck this week!

Thanks Brenda. I've had to do that a few times myself. DH and DD want to go
to iHop but I have opted to stay home and have leftovers. The sad part is
that both of them also need to lose bunches of pounds. You'd think that my
losing weight would be a good insentive for them too. So far it is not
working that way.

I don't have a good solution for you. I try to feed my family whatever I'm
eating, but there are always snacks in the house, which is okay for my son,
but my husband could stand to lose about 30 lbs. My son on the other
hand is 4 years old, tall and weights about 32 lbs., so if anything he could
afford to put on a few. He can still fit into 24 month old pants, except
they are up to his knees!
