Russell Hobbs
Went to slice up some turkey ham for grilled sandiches and decided that
I was tired of my old, worn out slicer. It was my grandmom's and doesn't even have a name brand on it. Shopped around online and was going to get a Chef's Choice, went to Kitchen Kapers to see it and it looked well not like the pictures online. They had a Russell Hobbs slicer that looked like it would cut a roast twice as big and had DH check online from work while I was in store. He found it on Amazon for 50 less. So when I got home, I went online and found out not only was it bigger, but it also looks like it is metal vs plastic. Something about metal makes me feel better. So I ordered it today. Now I can have my Toasties without going deaf slicing the meat, or gagging from the motor smell. It should be here by next Thursday. And new pasta maker comes tomorrow. DH says, hummm, long as you use them and not as dust gatherers. He is soo good that way. Guess it is because I am NOT a clothes buyer, he usually has to tell me to get something new. Just wondering if all you over the other side of the ocean know if Russell Hobbs is a good brand. Little late to cancel but still would like opinion if anyone has one. Thanks, Adele |

Thanks, Adele Russell Hobbs are a standard household small appliance firm here with a good reputation. Make kettles, toasters, etc. You should be fine with them. My last Russell Hobbs kettle was over 20 years old when it was retired because it got dropped and the handle was bust, rather than it stopped working. -- Kate XXXXXX R.C.T.Q Madame Chef des Trolls Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.diceyhome.free-online.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |
