I have a friend who uses comcast and I was wondering if there is a way for
her to join this newsgroup. I have outlook express.

Anyone can join this newsgroup. Does your friend have a news server with her
comcast service? Is this newsgroup on their server?

Seriously though.. this is a public forum,.. anybody with a new server
access can get on with this

If all she wants to look at is the text-based newsgroups, signing up
for Tera will give her free access. She still needs to use a newsreader
tho.
