Default I think I just Blew It Bad

I just came from the Chiropractor and I was feeling like crap so I got my
husband to stop at Wendy's. Yes I could have had a side sald and baked
potato or a jr burger.... but I opted for the Double Cheese Burger with
Bacon the Fry and the Root Beer.... oh and yes I did "BIGGIE SIZE" the
whole freakin thing. I'm feeling pretty crappy about it now. I just
calculated my points and I went over my daily points by 17 and not only did
I use all my Extra points but I went over that by 12. I haven't had any
water all week or very little.... enough to take meds.... I really need to
lose this weight and I can't belive that I did this on only my third week
in. Sorry for venting.... I'm still going to get weighed on either Friday
or Saturday and see how I did. I hope with the lack of movement and the
extra eating that I didn't gain too much.

Just accept your mistake and move forward. A bad meal is a bad meal but
jump back on the bandwagon! You can do it! Eat lots of fruit and veggies
tomorrow and lots of water.

It happens to everyone. Don't beat yourself up. Accept
that you made a mistake and move on. Eat light for the
next couple of days. Good luck.

I used to be disgusted. Now I try to be amused.

You don't get any activity points for beating yourself up !

Look at it.. learn from it and then forget it !

We've all been there !! Chin up ! puff up your chest (don't hurt your back
though !!!) look forward !! you're doing the right thing ! one mistep is
only a reminder of why you're doing this !!!!

Okay, what would you say to someone else who has done this?

I'd bet it would *not* be along the lines of "You worthless excuse for a
human! You might as well give up!"

I'd bet it would be along the lines of "Understandable, we all slip now and
again. Accept it - move on, learn from it, get back on the healthy eating
regime. You can do it."

So - be gentle on yourself - accpet what has happened - one slip isn't going
to put 50lbs back on you :-)

Get well & grow strong, helen s

Don't beat yourself up. It is only one week out of many more to come. This
is a learning process. Even after being on ww for almost 2 years I sometimes
break down and splurg. We are only human and this stuff happens. Just pick
yourself up and move forward.

I've lost count of how many times I've blown it. You just have to
accept it, learn from it and move on. Next time you go to the
chiropracter you know to pass Wendy's on the other side of the street,
or take your lunch with you.

Don't even think about not getting weighed, but don't take the
weigh-in emotionally. It's just your weight not a judgement on how
good/bad a person you are. If you gained a bit it's not the end of the
world, it's just put off reaching target by a few days.
