Default Exercise? When? How much?

: Time will tell.

Time has already told. Nobody knows Jane's body better than Jane. I don't
understand how you can argue with Jane over what works best for Jane's body.

: What proven benefits are you speaking? Studies show that a 30-45
: minute brisk walking regimen 5-6 times weekly will give you all the
: aerobic workout you need for improving and maintaining
: cardiorespiratory health.

The proven benefits that Jane has experienced in herself. Jane apparently
wasn't in any of the "studies" that you mention. "Studies" are based on
numbers of criteria on numbers of people. Jane is an individual who is
perfectly capable of basing valid conclusions on observations she makes of
herself.

How do you know what Jane needs to improve and maintain her
cardiorespiratory health? You are assuming that Jane is typical of the
study participants, and she may not be. If I had to choose who I believe --
the "study" or Jane's observations about herself -- Jane wins the
credibility contest hands down.

In my opinion, scientific studies are no substitute for knowing what works
best for your own body.

Not in light of looking at her exercise regimen and its life long
consistency, not even close yet.

Nobody knows Jane's body better than Jane. I don't

I don't know if Jane knows what is best for her body and neither do
you.

I'm not arguing that what she is doing is incorrect, I am simply
stating, statistically, she has little to no chance of keeping that
intensity up for a lifetime.

So?

"Studies" are based on
numbers of criteria on numbers of people.

Not all.

Jane is an individual who is
perfectly capable of basing valid conclusions on observations she makes of
herself.

Who are you? Tarzan?

How do you know what Jane needs to improve and maintain her
cardiorespiratory health?

See above.

You are assuming that Jane is typical of the
study participants, and she may not be.

I assumed nothing about Jane, Tarzan.

If I had to choose who I believe --
the "study" or Jane's observations about herself -- Jane wins the
credibility contest hands down.

You can believe who and what you want.

Believe this. Statistically, she's doomed.

In my opinion, scientific studies are no substitute for knowing what works
best for your own body.

You give Jane a lot of credit.

I don't.

No. I'm just correct, and you aren't. I know that must hurt your feelings,
little one, so let me say I'm sorry in advance.

You slip over the edge of sanity quite frequently, roose.

How do you know what Jane needs to improve and maintain her
cardiorespiratory health?

See above.

Yes, quite frequently.

You are assuming that Jane is typical of the
study participants, and she may not be.

I assumed nothing about Jane, Tarzan.

And you stay there for quite some time, too.

In my opinion, scientific studies are no substitute for knowing what works
best for your own body.

You give Jane a lot of credit.

I don't.

Credibility is something that you lost a LONG time ago, roose.
