Carol Ann,
I can't believe it, I'm down 2.4 lbs to 154.1 lbs this week! This means that I have reached my tentative goal (see ~/.signature) for this WOE. Whoda thunk this was possible?!? Well, I still have some unwanted adipose tissue around my belly button, and also love handles that shouldn't be there, but overall I'm very satisfied with the result. I guess I'll readjust my goal to, say, 150 lbs (68 kg) and see what happens if I continue on this path. I'm doing lots of cardio and weights, and my weight doesn't bother me much anymore. Perhaps I should focus on the shape, rather than on the mass now. Hi!
Three weeks into the challenge and Iam down to 143. I even went to a bridal shower yesterday. Drank alot of water and my only choice at the buffet table was deviled eggs. I enjoyed the heck out of those eggs!!!!! Tody, I start working out at the gym after work so I can only get better! Diane September 1,2003 149/143/120 |

Well, Carol Ann, I made my goal this month. 150 today. I went to Curves at
0630 this am. I had a very stressful day yesterday at work and I did not go off-plan even tho I was all twisted up inside. I actually had to force myself to eat (that's a new one) so I started today out right with exercise and I'm ready to go! gotta clean the house and then go shopping for some accessories for my convention later this week. I need a pair of shoes and some jewelry and some '50s clothes to wear to the sockhop (gay) but there isn't enough bowling lanes in Mankato, Mn to support our convention doing Moonlight Bowling. so the "fun"committee decided to do this. fortunately it has booze but I will have to bring my own because it is beer and pizza and I don't drink beer or eat pizza! Go ahead and put my new weight up. I have been off-plan for the last 2 weeks and backsliding has put me at 252. It's been quite a wake-up call to see the scale over 250 again. I'm getting a fresh start today and I'll see what can be done by next Wednesday. Loser 273/252/232 (September Challenge Goal = 240??....revised goal = 249) LC since 1May2003 |
