Kate, I think you and I both have the same feelings about housework! That

I have a "bookstand" for my nordic track but it is almost impossible,
it is impossible, to read while using it. Too much eye movement too close - the small tv I have set up a bit more distant is watchable. But then, I hate the nordic track (G) On Tue, 30 Sep 2003 16:55:56 GMT, ray miller wrote: On Tue, 30 Sep 2003 12:13:28 +0100, Kate Dicey wrote: Deb in Northern California wrote: That is why my exercise bike is in the living room in front of the TV. Mine has a built in reading tray right in front of the seat. I have the
recumbent style bike, so I can lean back and enjoy reading my book or watching TV while pedaling away at about 12-13 mph. Debbie "Kate Dicey" wrote in message ... Kate,
I have the same problem with house work. Funny thing is I just emptied a box that we moved into this house in April 1999. Guess what I found in there? A bunch of my EX husbands stuff, and he moved out in December 2000 and I have not heard from him in over a year. I emailed his last know address to let him know I had some of his stuff and to send me an address so I could send it to him, since he no longer lives in town. Still have not heard from him, but I would think it would be things he wants since he moved this stuff from the UK when we got married. Debbie "Kate Dicey" wrote in message ... Debbie There is stuff in our loft that went up there the day we moved in, and has not bee touched since! That was November 1984... On the other hand, before the gall bladder played me false, I did clear FIVE whole car loads to the dump and 3 to the charity shop, and another went to the charity place a couple of weeks back! I'm not COMPLETELY useless, just patchily useless! Trouble is, I'm VERY good at housework when I do it, but there are always much more interesting things to do! -- Kate XXXXXX Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.diceyhome.free-online.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |

That's not silly, that's GREAT Kate! Congrats on fitting into those cool
pants! -- ~Kristin O~ 272/237.4/172 Here's our FAQ: http://www.didian.com/asdww/ and welcome notice: http://www.geocities.com/welcomenotice/index.html "Kate Dicey" wrote in message ... There was this pair of black stretch cord trousers I made a few years back... Simple pull-on jobs with close fitting legs, a bit like leggings (all the rage when I made them, even for fat broads!) They always were a bit of a neat fit, but felt good. Eventually, I grew out of them, and put them on one side to go to the charity shop. Then they got tucked into a corner and forgotten about... I was doing a bit of tidying of the heap that collects on the exercise bike (I am not quite up to tackling that yet, but I can see it becoming a replacement for walking on days I get a lift in the near future!), and I found the trousers! I thought I'd just try them on one more time before they went to the charity shop, but they ain't going yet! They are just right! Whoo Hoo! In fact, they fit slightly better than when I made them! I know I made them years ago, because they are done with the over-edge stitch on the Viscount sewing machine, and I bought a Toyota overlocker/serger not long after that. They have been sitting in the 'I must remember to put those in the charity box' heap for about 3 years! One day soon they WILL go to the charity shop, but because they are TOO BIG not too small! I must try to wear them to my WW meeting on Thursday. |
