Thanks to everyone that has responded to this thread, it helped me get

back
on track. I spent much of yesterday shopping for a new book, Dana

Carpender
500 Recipes (found it!) making a low carb grocery list, food shopping and
cooking. I am good to go. FTR, back on only one day I am feeling

emotionally
and physically better. Anyone tried her bread recipes (or anything else)?

Thanks,
Nancy

My daughter's 3rd b-day party was yesterday. I planned ahead to eat

whatever
I wanted and be off my usual WOE for the day. The party turned out fine

but
I am sick. After eating a sandwich, chips, fresh fruit, b-day cake and

a
scoop of ice cream, I wanted to throw up and couldn't. Took one of my

DH
Prilosec and some OTC antacids. My sugar dived and then went sky high,

dived
again. I had the cold sweats, severe nausea (like sea sickness!) and
couldn't sleep. My joints are swollen and painful this am and I'm sorry

that
I ate the carbs that I did. Back on track today but I haven't eaten
yet...still a bit green. This was not a good time for me! I'm going to
re-think what celebrating really means...this can't be it!

WAY to GO Nancy
Positive reinforcement is fantastic... Im so glad I found this NG..
there's been times when I know that I would have thrown in the towel
if it weren't for the support and kindness of others here.
I'm just so happy to be a help to someone.
