Default Lifetime!!!

On Thursday, I finally received my Lifetime Membership Card and Key!!! What
joy!!! Actually came in five pounds under goal. For six weeks I struggled
a little to get a grasp on maintaining, but I think I've got it down now.

I tell you folks, this is about the neatest thing that has happened to me in
a very long while. I'm going to enjoy it!!!

I realize also that this is not the end, but the beginning of my goal of
maintaining a healty and appropriate weight. It has made a tremendous
difference in my energy level. At 54, I thought I was destined to become a
couch potato thinking maybe that was normal. Maybe that's the way it's
supposed to be. Wrong!!!

My wife and I have become much more active and much more social. I actually
enjoy going shopping with her and I like the idea that she buys me stuff
because she believes that I "deserve" it. I don't know about that, but it's
neat anyway *s*.

Point is.....I'm having lots of fun that I thought I would never see
again!!!

You're a great group. I appreciate all of you.

Okay, that's all.

Congratulations!! Besides wearing cuter clothes, I really do appreciate the
fact that there isn't much I can't do physically these days.

There are loads of things I can no longer do, at 49 that I did at 19...
But most of them no longer have anything to do with the weight, and
those that do no longer matter! (I don't think I actually NEED to have a
20" waist, for example!)

Slimmer is funner than fatter for me. Skinny ain't gonna happen!

) This is soooo neat !!!

Congratulations!

You are right, this is the begining of the journey, not the end, but as time
goes, it becomes more and more part of you and less and less "Something that
you have to do".

Keep going to meetings, keep stopping by here to post and read.

I hope you're very proud of yourself, and yeah, you DO deserve it!
